James Clarke - Director of Finance

Jim, has been on multiple teams and served as a director
since the inception of AWA. He is
a constant source of encouragement, but also
a person of great insight. We appreciate his input
and great sense of humor too.
From counsel to caring for children, Jim is able to put
people at ease quickly. Jim's experience with the public
gives him a special insight and patience to deal with the
most difficult situations. Working cross culturely demands this.
Thanks Jim, we need your counsel and appreciate your insight.

Jeff Sones - Director of Operations

We finally caught up with Jeff for a picture.  He now lives in New Hampshire,
which we don't hold against him.  Don't let the OU hat
fool you either, we still likes the Colorado Buffalos as well as the Denver Broncos.
Jeff adds a great dimension to A World Aware, Inc.  His committment to what is
right and understanding of our vision gives us a great benefit as we move
into the future.  Thank you Jeff.

Stephen Miles - Director of Public Relations

We are very happy that Stephen was able
to join our Directors Team recently.
Stephen comes with a great deal of experience
in the business world, as well as having a heart
to help people in severe need. After his journey
to South Africa in 2009 he made us "Aware" that
his involvement would deepen with AWA. Now the
director of Public Relations (which means
we can ask him anything from marketing/fund raising
to wiping children's noses) his contributions to the organization
are already evident. Welcome aboard Stephen.

Michael and Lois Calamia - Founders of A World Aware, Inc.

Do you know who we are? We are people like you. We are
not special,we are just ordinary people. (notice I did not say normal).
We are doing something about what we see around us, and
using the means we have to help where we can. We do nothing
extraordinary. We do what we can. This is what A World Aware, Inc.
is built on. People just noticing what is around them and when
realizing they can do something to ease the burden of another, just do it.

This is what our directors do. This is what our partners do. This is what our team members do.

Practice being aware of what is going on around you, do something where you can.
